Stunning views - some of the finest in Yorkshire, across to the North Yorkshire Moors, makes this an ideal holiday base, with excellent local attractions throughout the busy seaside town and coastal villages.

Attractions and Scenery
Such as Robin Hood's and Runswick Bay fishing villages, which lie just north and south of Whitby seaside town, providing a rich source of heritage and beauty right on your doorstep. Surrounding countryside takes in TV's Heartbeat sets, ideal walking country and even the famous Harry Potter Hogwarts station on the North Yorks. Moors Steam Railway, with sometimes famously disguised stations as Thomas the Tank Engine.
Further inland you will find the market towns of Pickering, Malton, Helmsley and Guisborough within easy reach by car. Also visitor attractions such as Castle Howard, Flamingo Land Fun Park, Eden Camp, Hull's The Deep, not to mention the wonderful delights of York City with the famous Minster.

The Cottages
Aislaby Lodge Cottages were originally converted from a small farm holding, maintaining a very local appearance and character. Set back against the beautiful Esk Valley, situated in the heart of the National Parks, with breath taking views, - peace and quiet, is the recipe for a relaxing holiday or break!
Aislaby Lodge Cottages consist of 5 cottages sleeping from 2 - 8 people. They can be booked individually or as a block with family and friends, with a total of 25 beds + cots available.
Access
Both Stable and Byre Cottages are ground floor only, next door to each other, which can be an advantage for those less able. Granary Cottage also has a master bedroom on the ground floor next to the bathroom.
Facilities include, laundry with tumble dryer, pay phone, lawn play areas, private patios and garden, BBQs, colour TV, videos, radios, electricity and heating included, bed linen, ample car parking spaces - and Pets are welcome too!
